Sabine Van Eerdenbrugh (PhD) has been a lecturer-researcher in the People and Well-being research group since 2014. An expert in stuttering, she is a member of the international LPTC and EBPracticeNet (Cebam).

About Sabine

Sabine Van Eerdenbrugh is a researcher, lecturer and coordinator of the bachelor's theses at the Speech-Language Pathology programme at Thomas More Hogeschool in Antwerp. During her PhD at the Australian Stuttering Research Centre (University of Sydney), she developed an internet-based training of the Lidcombe Programme for parents of toddlers who stutter. Sabine specialises in stuttering in young children and has treated children and adolescents with various speech and language difficulties over the years. She is a member of the International Lidcombe Programme Trainers Consortium. She is also on the editorial board of EBPracticeNet at the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine (Cebam).

Sabine currently coordinates TreatPaCS (funded by KCE), a Randomised Controlled Trial comparing three treatments for preschoolers (N = 249). She is also coordinator of TeleLAC-12, the project developing guidelines for telelogotherapy and teleaudiology in children up to 12 years old. This project is funded by FPS Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment.
